This vest was created by transforming a classic 100% virgin wool men's blazer and a damaged Louis Vuitton Monogram backpack. Both Treasures were deconstructed and combined in a new design.
For the vest, the sleeves of the blazer were completely removed and the cut edges were deliberately left open. The visible deconstruction was consciously used as a design element, giving the Treasures a raw, modern character. This is how the classic blazer was transformed into a newly interpreted vest.
A central detail of the design is the rose on the front of the vest. It was made from the cut-off sleeves of the blazer and then enhanced with Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas, pearl fringes, and a brooch.
The Louis Vuitton Monogram canvas used comes from a damaged Louis Vuitton backpack and was deliberately integrated on both the front and back of the vest. For the back part, the back of the original blazer was opened and the original closure system of the backpack was re-incorporated.
Small adjustments to the size and length are included in the price.
