The LOUIS VUITTON x Yayoi Kusama Horizon 55 Trolley is part of the second collaboration between Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and Maison Louis Vuitton, launched in 2023. This collaboration blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary art, demonstrating how fashion and design can become wearable art.
Yayoi Kusama, known for her repetitive patterns and signature polka dots, is one of Japan's most important artists. Since the 1960s, her work has explored themes such as infinity, self-perception, and the transition between reality and imagination. In this collection, she translates her iconic dots in vibrant colors onto classic Louis Vuitton silhouettes.
Designed by Marc Newson, the Horizon 55 is made of coated Monogram Canvas, which features Kusama's signature colorful dots printed using a special process. Its lightweight aluminum frame, four 360° wheels, and integrated TSA lock make it a stylish and functional travel companion.
