The B.Zero1 Treasure was launched in 1999, the year of the millennium change, and has since been one of BVLGARI's most successful jewelry lines. The name is an allusion to this new beginning. The circular basic shape is inspired by the Colosseum in Rome, which is less than two kilometers from the house's first boutique on Via Condotti. Two classic BVLGARI elements flow into the design: the Tubogas motif from the 1970s and the characteristic BVLGARI BVLGARI double logo, which is engraved on both sides of the Treasure.
The four bands give this 18-karat white gold Treasure a more voluminous, expressive presence on the finger than the narrower one- or three-band versions. White gold differs from yellow gold by an alloy with palladium or silver, which gives the metal its cool, silver-like shimmer. The cool white of the gold enhances the architectural effect of the Treasure and emphasizes the sharpness of its lines.
