Launched in 1997, the WOC (Wallet on Chain) Treasure was far ahead of its time. As the first compact Chanel bag with an integrated chain shoulder strap, it paved the way for a whole trend towards mini bags that only fully embraced the fashion world years later. The idea of combining a wallet and a bag into a single piece sounds simple but was a real innovation at the time. To this day, the WOC remains one of the most purchased and sought-after Chanel pieces ever.

This 2016 Treasure is crafted from ivory Caviar leather, which, with its embossed, scratch-resistant texture, clearly differs from the softer lambskin variant and is significantly easier to care for in everyday life. The six card slots, one zipper compartment, an exterior pocket, a "love letter" pocket, two internal side pockets, and an open central compartment make this Treasure a surprisingly functional companion for its small size. The 130 cm metal and leather chain can be worn over the shoulder, as a crossbody, or tucked inside as a clutch.
