The Lady D-Joy was introduced in 2022 by Maria Grazia Chiuri as a contemporary reinterpretation of the Lady Dior, featuring a horizontally oriented, slender silhouette that gives the classic, boxy Lady Dior a new, more modern dimension. The story behind it is the same: designed in 1994 by Gianfranco Ferré, given to Princess Diana in 1995, and renamed Lady Dior in her honor in 1996. Each Treasure requires eight hours and seven artisans in the Maison's ateliers, with 144 individual parts assembled into a finished piece.

The Medium Treasure in vibrant blue patent leather features the characteristic Cannage quilting and the gold-tone D.I.O.R. letter charms, which have remained unchanged since the line's inception. The two round handles and the D.I.O.R. charms, which move gently with every movement, clearly anchor this Treasure in the Maison's design language. Patent leather gives the Treasure a shiny, water-repellent surface that looks particularly intense in bold colors. A piece that embodies both the Maison's history and contemporary design.
