Founded in Paris in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron, Boucheron was the first jewellery house to set up shop on Place Vendôme — an address that remains a hub for fine jewellery craftsmanship to this day. The Serpent Bohème collection was introduced in 1968 and directly references one of the house's oldest symbolisms: the snake as a sign of eternity, wisdom, and renewal. As early as the 19th century, Boucheron crafted snake motifs for its most significant creations, including a legendary necklace for Princess Mathilde.
The S-motif Treasure in yellow gold is set with round brilliant-cut diamonds that accentuate the characteristic, curved snake-body motif along the setting. The delicate yet precise gold work gives this Treasure an organic lightness, making it wonderful to wear both alone and in combination with other pieces from the collection. Crafted in the house's workshops in Paris, this Treasure combines historical symbolism with a contemporary, playfully elegant design language.
