The BVLGARI B.Zero1 ring was introduced in 1999 – its name is a reference to the new millennium and a new beginning. Developed in collaboration with artist Anish Kapoor, whose interest in forms that challenge perception gave the B.Zero1 its distinctive character. The striking, circular design is inspired by the Roman Colosseum and uniquely combines archival design codes of the House of BVLGARI with contemporary design language.
The Three-Band ring is crafted in 18k rose gold and features a black ceramic spiral running between the polished gold bands. Black ceramic is characterized by its exceptional hardness and scratch resistance – making it not only a visual but also a functional element. The warm tone of the rose gold creates a deliberate, harmonious contrast to the cool, matte black of the ceramic. Made in Italy and engraved on both sides with the characteristic BVLGARI lettering, this ring combines artisanal precision with a clear, modern design aesthetic.
