This CHANEL Belted Dress dates back to 2013, the era of Karl Lagerfeld, who led the Maison creatively for over three decades. Particularly characteristic of his designs was the playful way he handled classic Chanel tweed, repeatedly freeing it from its traditional form. Instead of appearing exclusively in the well-known suits and jackets, the material also featured in modern dresses and new silhouettes.
With this treasure, the blue tweed is accentuated by a belt at the waist, which gives the dress a defined silhouette. The combination of the traditional material and the feminine cut shows how Lagerfeld translated classic Chanel elements into a contemporary wardrobe.
