Representing the pinnacle of luxury, this reissue comes from the final period when CHANEL still guaranteed 24-karat gold plating on its gold hardware. The iconic Bijoux chain and Mademoiselle twist clasp sparkle with a deep, unparalleled luster no longer found on modern handbags.

Inside, the bag pays homage to Coco Chanel's original design: The functional double-flap construction offers a total of eight compartments , including the famous secret pocket and an exquisite mirrored flap for quick touch-ups. The main compartment is lined with the historic, durable burgundy fabric – a direct, color-based tribute to the House's heritage.
