About: The iconic Lady Dior bag is forever associated with Lady Diana, Princess of Wales. In September 1995, at the opening of the Paul Cézanne retrospective at the Grand Palais in Paris, the First Lady of France presented her with a previously unreleased Dior bag, then called the Chouchou. On an official visit to Argentina in November of the same year, the princess appeared bag in hand as she got off the plane in Buenos Aires. The scene was immortalized in a photo that now enjoys cult status and immediately went around the world. The accessory quickly became a favorite of Lady Diana, who wore it on all her excursions and even had a navy blue version made to match her eyes.
