Pomellato was founded in Milan in 1967 by Pino Rabolini, the son of a family of goldsmiths, who challenged the traditional world of fine jewelry with a revolutionary approach: jewelry for everyday wear, accessible, wearable, and bold in color. What began as a prêt-à-porter philosophy in jewelry has now become the hallmark of the house. The Sabbia collection, whose name means sand in Italian, is one of Pomellato's most recognizable designs and showcases what sets the house apart: diamonds are hand-set in organic, irregular patterns, as random and vibrant as sand moving in the wind.
