The Lucky Spring collection by Van Cleef & Arpels pays tribute to spring and expresses the Maison’s positive outlook on life. Its creations evoke the awakening of flora and fauna, symbolizing renewal. They feature fluttering butterflies or ladybugs combined with plum blossoms, lily-of-the-valley buds, and delicate foliage.
The ladybugs, crafted from onyx and carnelian, are joyful charms. Mother-of-pearl lends the flowers a delicate and graceful radiance.
Carnelian is traditionally associated with vitality, courage, energy, and passion. In the Lucky Spring collection, it expresses the vibrant, joyful side of spring.
In traditional gemstone symbolism, onyx stands for strength, protection, inner peace, and stability. In the design, it provides an elegant contrast to the bright carnelian.
The motifs nestle between the fingers. Their harmonious arrangement around each other creates the impression as if they were alive.
