UNFOLD is our first couture upcycling capsule collection. The first of its kind in Switzerland. It was designed and produced here in Zurich in our atelier by our couture tailors Damaris Sonderegger and Sabrina Simon. The inspiration for UNFOLD did not begin with a sketch, but with what already exists. With treasures that have already begun their story but have not found a new home in their previous form. Our goal is to keep materials in circulation and give them new forms, functions, and meanings through precise handcraftsmanship.
The capsule collection consists of carefully curated treasures selected for their quality, material, and creative potential. These include high-quality natural materials and iconic treasures from houses such as Hermès, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton. UNFOLD sees itself as a convertible capsule collection. The individual pieces are deliberately combinable and can be reinterpreted again and again across different looks. This creates a collection that does not consist of individual outfits, but of versatile possibilities for countless individual combinations.
The Future of Fashion is Circular
Look 1
combines the UNFOLD Silk Overall Sage with the UNFOLD Lace Body. The overall was created from the complete transformation of a 100% silk Hermès trench coat. Its original pattern pieces, lining, and functional details were reassembled and transformed into a modern ready-to-wear piece. The Lace Body was made from a lace dress, lined with 100% silk, and refined with original Chanel buttons at the décolleté. Together, they create a look that combines precise upcycling, couture craftsmanship, and iconic materials.

LOOK 2
combines the UNFOLD Lingerie Two Piece with the UNFOLD Vest Deep Brown. The two-piece set, consisting of a top and shorts, was created from a 100% silk Hermès Carré and a lace top, which were completely deconstructed and reassembled. The silk panels and original tassels were consciously transformed into a wearable ready-to-wear ensemble. The vest was made from a men's blazer of 100% virgin wool and a damaged Louis Vuitton Monogram backpack. Open raw edges, a rose crafted from the blazer sleeves, Monogram canvas, pearl fringes, and a brooch combine classic tailoring with visible deconstruction.

Look 3
combines the UNFOLD Suede Oversize Jacket, the UNFOLD Flowy Maxi Skirt, and the UNFOLD Triangle Bralette. The Oversize Jacket was created from a vintage two-piece made of 100% finest suede, which was completely deconstructed and reassembled like a puzzle. A lining made from a Dolce & Gabbana silk blouse, as well as preserved buttons, fasteners, and skirt slits, were consciously integrated into the new design. The Flowy Maxi Skirt combines a flowing silk dress with a Louis Vuitton leather mini-skirt and incorporates original details such as the waistband, fasteners, hardware, and zipper. The Triangle Bralette was crafted from an Hermès silk blouse, whose precious material was precisely preserved and reinterpreted despite imperfections.

LOOK 4
combines the UNFOLD Balloon Sleeve Blouse, the UNFOLD Pleated Bermudas and the UNFOLD Triangle Bralette. The oversized blouse was created from a white cotton dress, a 100% silk Hermès scarf and delicate lace elements. The collar, button placket and cotton structure were reinterpreted, while Hermès silk on the sleeves and back adds special accents. The Pleated Bermudas were technically reconstructed from 100% cotton Dolce & Gabbana trousers to fundamentally improve silhouette, fit and comfort. The Triangle Bralette was made from an Hermès silk scarf, whose valuable material was precisely recut and transformed into a compact design despite imperfections.

combines the UNFOLD Balloon Pants, the UNFOLD Embroidered Button Bustier, and the UNFOLD Tweed Bomber Jacket. The Balloon Pants were created from a deconstructed dress made of 100% silk and fine lace, transformed into a voluminous, modern balloon silhouette. Lace inserts, strategically placed lining, and Chanel details such as logo accents, tweed elements, and a removable ankle strap offer various styling options. The bustier was reconstructed from the upper part of a black dress and embellished with 57 original Chanel buttons. The Tweed Bomber Jacket transforms original Chanel tweed into a sporty, modern silhouette, combining iconic structure with contemporary lightness.

Look 6
combines the UNFOLD Oversize Blouse Dress with the UNFOLD Knot Top. The blouse dress was created from the transformation of an original dress, shortened and converted into a modern, soft silhouette. An inserted Hermès scarf at the back, elements from another treasure, and gathered cuffs with elasticated finishes give the piece additional depth and character. The Knot Top was made from eight original Hermès silk ties, completely deconstructed and reassembled into narrow, round bands. Its modular button construction makes it flexible to wear and can be interpreted as a top, hip ornament, or accessory.

presents the UNFOLD Silk Scarf Tulip Dress. The dress was created from seven original Hermès silk scarves, six of which were almost completely preserved and only joined together by precise seams. This created a large, flowing overall look from iconic silk patterns, which preserves the originality of the material and at the same time transforms it into a new, elegant silhouette. With minimal artisanal intervention, the Hermès scarves were transformed into an expressive ready-to-wear piece that uniquely combines lightness, precision and the idea of upcycling.
